Misinformed Tech Show #01 HD-DVD vs. BlueRay

I believe that the Blue-ray is going to win. Why? There lots of company that will support the Blue-ray: Sony, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi, LG Electronics, Matsushita Electric Industrial (Panasonic), Mitsubishi Electric, Philips Electronics, Pioneer Electronics, Samsung Electronics, Sharp, TDK, and Thomson Multimedia. Not only that but it offer 30% more capacity then HD-DVD and is designed for recording High-Definition better then HD-DVD. What more is that Sony own's Columbia Picture and recently MGM and with the release of PS3, there going to whoop ass in the market.

The downside of Blue-ray that it will cost more then HD-DVD to produce and it Blue-ray player. But like that motto says "You get what you pay for.".

HD-DVD is going to be supported by Toshiba, NEC, Sanyo, Memory-Tech, Microsoft and Intel. This is cheaper to produce the Blue-ray. It will cost 10% more then standard DVD and there might be possiblities that it can be backward compatible.

The downside of HD-DVD is that Sony own's both Columbia Picture and MGM, two gaint film company, so don't be expecting to see a movie that come's from this company or other that might join Blue-ray on HD-DVD.
